DB Plus 1.2.0
v1.2.0· Platforms: macOS (Apple Silicon)
Security hardening for SSH and SQL adapters, Keychain presence protection, multi-result SQL Server queries, JSON export polish, and liquid-glass UI across Settings, MCP, Data Grid, and tabs.
Security
- SSH tunnels verify the server host key against ~/.ssh/known_hosts (fail closed on unknown or mismatched keys) and support unencrypted OpenSSH / PKCS#8 / SEC1 private keys (ed25519, ECDSA).
- Optional Keychain credential protection that requires user presence (Touch ID / password) before reading saved secrets.
- Safer MSSQL metadata queries with bound parameters, ClickHouse identifier escaping fixed for ClickHouse rules, and SQLite parameter binding coverage expanded in tests.
Query & export
- SQL Server multi-result sets stream into separate Query Editor tabs instead of showing only the first set.
- JSON export gains a pretty-print option, with a clearer export sheet and selection summary.
- Database picker search makes it faster to jump between databases in the connection popover.
UI
- Liquid glass styling and accessibility refinements across Settings, MCP window, Data Grid, tab bar, and related chrome.
- Custom Data Grid header improves column-resize visibility; translucent backgrounds follow Reduce Transparency / theme settings.
Platform notes
- macOS 14+ Apple Silicon (arm64) DMG — unsigned / not notarized. If Gatekeeper blocks launch: right-click → Open, or sudo xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /Applications/DBPlus.app.
- Sparkle appcast ships with this release; installed builds check the public latest/download feed on dbplus-release.
- Windows and Linux packages are not included in this release.
